How to activate a child's social security card

Children's social security cards are activated as follows:

1. When the child's guardian receives the social security card for the first time, he can ask the on-site staff to help activate it.

2. Social security outlets are enabled. The child guardian can bring his/her ID card, child social security card, family account book and other materials to the service hall of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau where the social security relationship is located, and apply to the staff of the social security service window for activating the social security card.

3. Bank outlets are activated. The child guardian can bring the social security card and the household registration book to the bank outlet where the social security card belongs for activation.

4. Call to activate. After calling the social security card customer service hotline 12333, the child guardian will transfer the manual telephone number of the service outlet where the social security relationship is located according to the prompt, and then apply for activating the child social security card.

5. The designated hospital is activated. Children's guardians can bring social security cards to designated hospitals to activate social security cards.

Children need the following documents to activate the social security card:

(1) Original and photocopy of the insured's ID card (16 years old can provide household registration book);

(2) Digital photo receipt of the insured;

(3)/kloc-Under the age of 0/6, provide the original and photocopy of the guardian's ID card and the original and photocopy of the guardianship certificate (such as birth certificate and household registration book).
