What is social security used for

The role of social security: to protect the basic life of workers and stabilize the society; to protect the health of workers and improve their physical fitness; to promote the development of production and ensure the normal functioning of the economy; to serve the society and the grassroots and to facilitate the life of the masses; to implement the redistribution of income, to appropriately regulate the distribution of labor, and to insure the basic life of the low-income people.
