What if the medical insurance money is not enough?

Supplementary medical insurance is deducted from the personal account balance of medical insurance in the following ways:

1, the balance of medical insurance card payment is insufficient, and the rest needs to be paid in cash;

2. The part paid by the personal account shall be borne by the individual and shall not participate in reimbursement;

3. Only those items that exceed the deductible and fall within the scope of medical insurance reimbursement will be reimbursed.

I or the social security personnel of the insured unit apply to the social security collection department for merging the social security computer number with my written application, the change form of insurance information, the original social security card and the detailed list of payment. If the transfer fails for three consecutive months, the social security agency will stop the payer's social insurance payment business. If the insured person needs to settle the premium owed, he shall apply for deduction again at the individual payment window of the social security institution in his district.

The state establishes social insurance systems such as basic old-age insurance, basic medical insurance, industrial injury insurance, unemployment insurance and maternity insurance, so as to guarantee citizens' right to receive material assistance from the state and society in accordance with the law when they are old, sick, injured, unemployed and have children.

Article 28

Medical expenses that meet the basic medical insurance drug list, diagnosis and treatment items, medical service facilities standards and emergency rescue shall be paid by the basic medical insurance fund in accordance with state regulations.
