Self-insured persons can only pay endowment insurance and medical insurance at their own expense, but some areas can also pay maternity insurance at their own expense, and the general payment ratio is 1%.

Social security is generally paid by employees and units, and their respective payment ratios are different. Legal basis:

Article 22 of the Social Insurance Law stipulates that the state shall establish and improve the social endowment insurance system for urban residents. The people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government may, according to the actual situation, combine the social endowment insurance for urban residents with the new rural social endowment insurance.

Article 33 of the Social Insurance Law stipulates that employees shall participate in work-related injury insurance, and the employer shall pay the work-related injury insurance premium, while employees shall not pay the work-related injury insurance premium.

Article 53 of the Social Insurance Law stipulates that employees should participate in maternity insurance, and employers should pay maternity insurance premiums in accordance with state regulations, while employees do not pay maternity insurance premiums.
