Employee health insurance can be transferred across provinces.

During this process, the funds in the individual account will also be transferred with the health insurance relationship.

The conditions for transferring employees' health insurance across provinces:

1. The insured unit or person will bring to the place of transfer for the termination of health insurance enrollment.

2. The place of transfer will issue a voucher for participation in the insurance program of the other place and handle the transfer formalities.

3. Bring the required information to the social security organization of the transferring place to apply for the transfer of medical insurance.

4. After accepting the application, the transfer agency of the transferring place and the transferring place shall contact the transfer agency of the transferring place within 15 working days from the date of acceptance for those who meet the conditions of transferring, and generate and issue the Contact Letter of Transferring and Continuing the Basic Medical Insurance Relationship.

5. Within 15 working days from the date of receipt of the Contact Letter, the transferring local office shall complete the procedures for termination of the participant's participation in the insurance scheme, as well as the transfer of the amount of the individual account.
