Individuals who don't want to pay social security can be refunded, but the following conditions must be met:

1, the participant reaches the retirement age, has not yet paid for a full 15 years;

2, repeated enrollment, the termination of the labor relationship can be withdrawn;

3, the participant went abroad to settle in the United States, or the participant's accidental death. In addition to the above conditions, it is necessary to wait until the participant reaches the retirement age, i.e., 60 years old for men and 55 or 50 years old for women.

The procedures for surrendering the insurance are as follows:

1. The insured unit has gone through the procedure of suspending the insurance for the employee and paid the outstanding social security contributions;

2. The completed declaration form of the lump-sum living allowance for the surrender of the unemployment insurance of the old-age pension insurance (stamped by the unit);

3. Prepare the original identity card of the participant and a copy of the same, and go to the social security bureau where the participant last enrolled in the insurance to apply for the same in person;

4, go to the bank in person to receive the surrender payment.

Individuals who have participated in basic old-age pension insurance and who have paid contributions for a cumulative total of fifteen years by the time they reach the legal retirement age will receive a basic pension on a monthly basis.

Individuals who have participated in basic old-age insurance and have contributed for less than fifteen years by the time they reach the statutory retirement age may contribute until they reach the full fifteen years and receive a basic pension on a monthly basis; they may also be transferred to the new type of rural social old-age insurance or the urban residents' social old-age insurance, and enjoy the corresponding old-age insurance treatment in accordance with the provisions of the State Council.
