Yunnan newborns apply for social security.

Newborns must first register for medical insurance. Newborn guardians need to hold a copy of the newborn household registration book and a one-inch photo of the newborn, fill in the registration form of basic medical insurance for urban residents in the community neighborhood Committee where the household registration is located, and after being signed and sealed by the handling personnel, send the registration form to the residents' section of the municipal medical insurance center to make social security cards and pay medical insurance fees.

Newborn medical insurance needs the following information:

You need to bring your household registration book (a copy of the first page and the child's household registration page), your parents' ID card (a copy of both sides) and an inch photo of the newborn with a blue background or a red background (needed in some places) to the street or community labor security office where your household registration is located to go through the insurance formalities. It takes more than a month from going through the insurance formalities to getting the newborn medical insurance card. Generally speaking, any newborn born within 12 months can be insured at any time.

The medical insurance premium paid annually is 50 yuan.

Newborns can apply at any time within one year of birth, but local taxes are accepted from the 6th to 25th of each month. If a newborn applies for a social security card within three months of birth, the expenses from birth to now can be reimbursed. If you apply for a social security card after three months, you can only reimburse medical expenses from the time you apply for the card.

But now you can go directly to the neighborhood Committee to get the form. As long as the neighborhood Committee can find your baby's account information, you can go directly without going to the local tax. Then take the entrustment number to the bank to go through the withholding formalities. When you go to the Labor Building to apply for a social security card, you should bring your household registration book and ID card.
