2. Back up the information on the old card: For the old social security card, it is recommended to back up a personal information in case of emergency.
3. Keep the old card properly: Although the old social security card has expired, the personal information on the card still exists, which needs to be kept properly to avoid information leakage.
The following materials are required to replace the social security card:
1, I will handle it: I need to bring my resident ID card (including a copy) and my household registration book;
2. Agency by others: the agent must hold his/her ID card, cardholder's ID card or social security card, and submit a written power of attorney signed or sealed by the client;
3. Location: You can choose to go to the local social security bureau or the issuing bank;
4. Information: You can bring your ID card and old social security card, or you can handle it through the bank self-service business card printing machine. Need to provide my ID card, social security card transaction password and bank card with UnionPay logo;
5. Get a new card: After going through the formalities of card replacement, you need to wait for 7 working days, then take the card replacement business confirmation form and the original ID card to the original processing point to get a new card, and at the same time hand over the old card to the business processing point for unified destruction.

Employees-free individual industrial and commercial households who voluntarily participate in social insurance, part-time employees who do not participate in social insurance in the employing unit and other flexible employees shall apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration.
The state establishes a national unified personal social security number. Personal social security number is a citizen's identity number.
