The minimum wage guarantee line is 27,000 yuan, which is the annual level of comprehensive calculation of the minimum wage standard of 2,320 yuan/month implemented in August of 20021year and the minimum wage standard of 2,200 yuan/month in the first seven months.

"People's Republic of China (PRC) Labor Law" Article 48 The state implements the minimum wage guarantee system. The specific standard of the minimum wage shall be formulated by the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government and reported to the State Council for the record. The wages paid by the employer to the workers shall not be lower than the local minimum wage. Article 91 (3) of the Labor Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), if the employing unit infringes upon the legitimate rights and interests of the workers in any of the following circumstances, the labor administrative department shall order it to pay the wages and economic compensation to the workers, and may also order it to pay compensation: (3) Paying the wages of the workers below the local minimum wage standard.
