What is the difference between social security and flexible employment?

Legal analysis: Is there a difference between the social security paid by flexible employees themselves and the social security paid by enterprise employees? Why? We all know that flexible employees can choose to pay their own personal social security. Of course, the personal social security they pay also belongs to the category of employee pension insurance. In fact, it is exactly the same social security as employees in enterprises, and as flexible employees, they are completely free to transfer to work units and continue to pay their own personal social security. In other words, if you find a new work unit as a flexible employee, you can completely transfer your personal social security from the form of flexible employment to the work unit to participate in the insurance. Then the accumulated years of social security paid by you in the form of flexible employment, including your personal social security account, can be freely transferred and then accumulated. Then if the enterprise pays social security normally on this basis, your years will automatically accumulate. Therefore, the pension insurance of the two is actually the same.

Legal basis: Article 23 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), employees shall participate in the basic medical insurance for employees, and the employer and employees shall jointly pay the basic medical insurance premium in accordance with state regulations. Individual industrial and commercial households without employees, part-time employees who have not participated in the basic medical insurance for employees and other flexible employees can participate in the basic medical insurance for employees, and individuals pay the basic medical insurance premium in accordance with state regulations.
