Offline filing: As online filing is not possible in some areas, you need to bring your ID card, social security card, residence permit in different places, and registration form for medical treatment in different places (downloaded from the website of the Social Security Bureau) to the medical insurance agency in the insured area (such as the Social Security Bureau) for filing. As local policies may be different, it is recommended to consult the national social security hotline first. No matter which method is used for filing, the success of filing can be confirmed through the national medical insurance service platform.
