Do I need a social security card?

You don't need to get a social security card in person, you can also do it on your behalf. The process of handling social security cards is as follows:

1. Employees who apply for the card for the first time go to the networked photo studio of the second-generation ID card recognized by the municipal public security organ to take digital photos, and ask the photo studio for the receipt of the digital photos of XX social security card, and at the same time fill in the name and ID number neatly on the receipt for convenience. Employees who have applied for social security cards, but need to apply for them again after losing them, do not need to submit the receipt of digital photos;

2. Enterprises that have applied for online declaration can directly apply for online certification. First, print the voucher, arrange the receipt of the digital photos of the employees who need to make vouchers according to the order of printing the voucher and attach them to the list, and provide a copy of the employee's ID card, submit it to the business card printing window designated by social security, pay the fee and receive the business card printing receipt;

3. If the online declaration is not made, the enterprise shall submit a copy of the employee's ID card and a receipt of the digital photo of the social security card. The digital photo receipts of social security cards are arranged in the order of insurance reports and attached to the insurance reports. If the lost social security card needs to be reissued, you can directly fill in the "Application Form for Reissuing the Social Security Card of X City". After the collection department to which the payment belongs prints the voucher list, it can pay at the business card printing window designated by social security and receive the business card printing receipt;

4. Personnel who pay in the individual payment window should submit the original ID card and the receipt of the digital photo of the social security card to the social security agency's individual payment window to fill in the form, pay the fee and receive the official card receipt;

5 insured units or individuals to pay premiums. Insured individuals with business card printing receipt will pick up their cards at the original business card printing acceptance window within the specified time.

To apply for the issuance of social security cards, the following materials shall be submitted:

(1) Fill in a complete social security card issuance registration application form;

(2) An explanation of the preparation for the issuance of social security cards;

(3) The application fields and application file structures in the card that meet the requirements of the national unified specifications (including the application fields and indicators of local expansion);

(four) the card face style designed according to the unified requirements;

(five) the measures for the administration of social security cards in this area and the detailed rules for their implementation;

(six) other materials required by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
