2. Social security requirements: International students graduated from the top 50 universities in the world are required to pay social insurance fees in accordance with the regulations, and the social security base is not less than the average salary of Shanghai employees in the previous year. For international students who graduated from the top 51-100 ranked institutions, they need to pay social insurance fees according to the regulations, and the base of social insurance is not less than 65% of the average salary of Shanghai employees in the previous year.

3. Individual Tax Requirements: International students need to pay individual income tax in accordance with the regulations, and the individual income tax certificate provided when applying for settlement must match the social security base. If the personal income tax certificate is less than 1.5 times of the social security base, the student cannot apply for settlement.
