Is it illegal for kindergartens not to buy social security for teachers?

As an employer, kindergartens should provide employees with corresponding social insurance in accordance with relevant regulations and legal obligations. If kindergartens fail to provide social insurance according to law, employees can complain to the labor department or safeguard their rights and interests through labor arbitration.

According to the Labor Contract Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Social Insurance Law, the employer shall pay social insurance premiums for employees according to law, including endowment insurance, medical insurance, unemployment insurance, industrial injury insurance and maternity insurance.
