According to Article 57 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Social Insurance Law:

Where the social insurance registration items of the employing unit are changed or the employing unit is terminated according to law, it shall, within 30 days from the date of change or termination, go to the social insurance agency to handle the change or cancellation of social insurance registration.

Information required for handover:

1, employee pension insurance handbook, employee medical insurance handbook, social insurance card.

2. Original and photocopy of ID card.

3. Application for surrender and relevant certification materials.

4. After the above information is complete, the pension, unemployment and work-related injury fund management center will print the personal account one-time payment approval form in accordance with relevant policies and regulations. After being signed by the director in charge, report to the financial office of the center.
