Is it troublesome to transfer social security?

Legal analysis: the insured person brings his/her pension manual, medical insurance card and ID card to the social security institution of the original insured place to apply for transfer, get the social insurance payment voucher, and then hand it over to the social security institution of the new insured place. After receiving the payment voucher, the new insured place shall print the contact letter of social security relationship transfer and send it to the original insured place by registered mail within 15 working days; After the original insured place receives the contact letter, within 15 working days, print the social insurance transfer and connection information form of the insured person and send it to the new insured place by registered way to complete the financial transfer procedures. After receiving the information form, the new insured place will enter it and call the insured person to complete the whole transfer procedure.

Legal basis: Article 72 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) establishes social insurance agencies in overall planning areas. According to the needs of the work, with the approval of the local social insurance administrative department and the organization management organ, the social insurance agency may set up branches and service outlets in this overall planning area. The personnel expenses of social insurance agencies and the basic operating expenses and management expenses incurred in handling social insurance shall be guaranteed by the finance at the same level in accordance with state regulations.
