How to use the medical insurance card:

Scope of use of the medical insurance card: insured workers can use the card on the POS machine with the password when they visit the designated hospitals and pharmacies to buy medicine, but they can't withdraw the cash or transfer the money to use it;

Medicare card balance inquires: Insured workers can inquire about the balance by dialing the phone number 95566 or inquire about the balance in the Savings Office of the Bank of China or the downtown area. Medicare card transaction inquiry: insured employees can go to the savings office of the Bank of China with their ID cards and medical certificates to request a printout of the transaction records of the card, including the records of the allocation of the individual account funds and the consumption records, and if there is any doubt about the transaction records, they can go to the retail department of the Bank of China to make inquiries;

Password of the card: the password of the card can be changed by the insured employees. If an employee changes his/her password, he/she can call 95566 to change it, or he/she can hold his/her ID card and go to the savings office of BOC to change it. If he/she forgets his/her password, he/she can hold his/her ID card and go to the savings office of BOC to lose his/her password and change it.

Medicare Card Custody: Participating employees should keep their medical card in good condition. If it is lost, please go to the unit to issue a letter of proof and go to the medical insurance office to confirm the loss of the card with your ID card and hold it to the savings office of BOC for verification of the loss of the card.
