How do Hong Kong nationals participate in insurance?

Hong Kong nationals can only be insured if they hold an employment permit.

For Hong Kong people working in Shenzhen, they can also participate in Shenzhen social security in accordance with relevant regulations and enjoy corresponding treatment. The unit manager needs to bring relevant information to the collection window of the social security institution (branch or management station) to which the employer belongs to handle the insurance payment. Those from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao who have not applied for the Employment Certificate of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao and participated in social insurance in our city in other ways are deemed invalid and cannot enjoy relevant social insurance benefits.

Hong Kong nationals who meet the payment period when they reach retirement age and are determined to receive treatment in Shenzhen can go through retirement procedures in Shenzhen.
