Article 20 Local people's governments at all levels shall, in accordance with the transfer and acceptance plan, do a good job in the resettlement of veterans, and complete the task of resettlement of veterans. Institutions, group organizations, enterprises, institutions and social organizations shall receive and resettle veterans in accordance with the law, and veterans shall accept resettlement.

If they are resettled in the form of retirement, the people's government of the place of resettlement shall do a good job of service management and safeguard their treatment in accordance with the combination of state security and socialized services. If they are resettled by way of support, they shall be supported by the State for life.

Article 23 For retired conscripts, the State shall take such measures as self-employment, job placement, and support to ensure their proper placement. Those who are resettled by means of self-employment shall receive a one-time retirement pension. In the case of resettlement by job placement, the people's government of the place of resettlement shall arrange jobs for the conscripts on the basis of their contributions and specialties during their active service. If they are resettled by way of support, they shall be supported by the State for life.

Article 24: The conditions applicable to the modes of resettlement, such as retirement, transfer to other occupations, monthly retirement pension, demobilization, self-employment, job placement and support, shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.
