What's the difference between Guangzhou Railway Group and other railway bureaus?

Railway Corporation and Guangzhou Railway Group are subordinate.

The most obvious difference between Guangzhou Railway Group and other railway bureaus is that most of Guangzhou Railway Group are market-oriented enterprises.

Guangzhou Railway (Group) Company was established on February 8, 1993 (its predecessor was the former Guangzhou Railway Bureau), and it is one of the national 18 railway bureaus. Approved by the State Council Economic and Trade Office, it is the first national railway transport enterprise group established on the basis of the former Guangzhou Railway Bureau.

The railway corporation is a public institution, and its subordinate railway bureaus and stations are all state-owned enterprises.

Railway Corporation is a characteristic product of China railway management system and an important part of China railway three-level system.

At present, there are 18 railway bureaus (groups and companies) and 1 logistics companies in China, namely:

Beijing Railway Bureau, Chengdu Railway Bureau, Wuhan Railway Bureau, Shanghai Railway Bureau, Shenyang Railway Bureau, Xi Railway Bureau, taiyuan railway administration Railway Bureau, Jinan Railway Bureau, Zhengzhou Railway Bureau, Nanning Railway Bureau, Nanchang Railway Bureau, kunming railway administration, lanzhou railway administration Railway Bureau, Harbin Railway Bureau, Hohhot Railway Bureau, Urumqi Railway Bureau, Guangzhou Railway Group, Qinghai-Tibet Railway Company and China Railway Express Logistics Company.
