What are the enterprises that do well in manufacturing supply chain?

Supply chain has narrow sense and broad sense.

In a narrow sense, it refers to production/logistics. Broadly speaking, it refers to the whole chain control from forecasting to purchasing to production to delivery. The broadest sense is cross-company or even cross-industrial chain, but it is not the scope of our discussion.

As far as a single enterprise is concerned, the first step to do a good job in supply chain is to expand it to a broad scope. The second step is to study the information flow of each link in order to achieve the purpose of the whole supply chain management.

Most enterprises are still in the first step.

In fact, many good benchmarks have entered China. Just a few examples:

Dell (inventory control, accurate and timely information flow)

Zara (retail benchmark)

The supply chains of Procter & Gamble, Unilever and consumer goods industries developed quite early.

Pepsi-Cola, which is very popular in the United States and has strong customer service, has brought its accumulated supply chain experience to China.
