1. Chikan District and xiashan district are in the center of Zhanjiang. Downtown refers to the area in the city where business, entertainment, shopping, culture, communication, public facilities and administrative organs are concentrated and people flow frequently.

2. Chikan District is located on the northwest bank of Zhanjiang Bay, which is the central city of Zhanjiang City and the seat of Zhanjiang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government.
