Tao Huabi was born in a remote mountain village in Meitan County, Guizhou Province.

1989, with a little money saved, she built a house with bricks picked up from four places on a street in Longdongbao, Nanming District, Guiyang City, and opened an "affordable restaurant" specializing in bean jelly and cold noodles. In order to accompany the meal, she specially made hot sauce, which was specially used to mix bean jelly. As a result, business is very prosperous. Later, she saw the potential of hot sauce and threw herself into it. After several years of trial production, her hot sauce tastes more unique.

In June, 1997, "Laoganma Hot Sauce" passed the market test and gained a firm foothold in Guiyang.

1August 1997, "Guiyang laoganma flavor food co., ltd" was officially listed. After the managers sent by Tao Huabi came back one after another, the company quickly embarked on the road of scientific management.

Because of his poor family, Tao Huabi never went to school for a day. At the age of 20, she married a member of the 206 Geological Team. But a few years later, her husband died of illness, leaving her and two children. In order to survive, she went to other places to work and set up stalls.

Later, her bean jelly business became worse and worse, but the hot sauce was not enough to sell. One day at noon, her hot sauce was sold out, and no guests ate bean jelly. She closed the store and visited more than 10 restaurants and food stalls selling bean jelly, and found that their business was very good. It turns out that all the hot sauces these people make are bought from her. The next day, she never sold hot sauce alone again. After a period of preparation, Tao Huabi gave up the restaurant that he had painstakingly managed for many years. 1In July, 1996, she rented two houses in the village committee of Yun Guan, Nanming District, recruited 40 workers, and set up a food processing factory, which was named "Laoganma Hot Sauce". Although the initial output of the factory was very low, the local bean jelly shop could not digest it. However, within a week, those trial sellers called and asked her to double the delivery; She doubled the staff and soon ran out of goods.

Since 1997, there are as many as 50 or 60 kinds of counterfeit products of Laoganma, and the counterfeit places are all over Guizhou, Hunan, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu and other places. Laodopted mother was forced to a critical moment. The company sent in a batch of counterfeiters. Busy with counterfeiting, she didn't have time to eat. She bought two steamed buns and mixed them with her own lobster sauce and pepper. Forgers are hiding everywhere. In order to find evidence, they have to go out to investigate at midnight. Among all counterfeiters, "Laoganma" produced by Hunan Kazuki Watanabe musician Food Company is the most "justified". This is because they have a "legal" registered trademark. From 1996 to 1998, Laoganma applied for trademark registration with the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce for many times. However, the reason that "dopted mother" is called by ordinary people, so it lacks obvious characteristics when used as a trademark "was rejected. However, although the company's products were made by dopted mother, although the bottle was replaced by the head of an old lady named Liu, and the producers were food factories and companies, the rest of the decoration and packaging and even the "Laodopted mother" specially inscribed by Laodopted mother company copied the design of genuine Laodopted mother intact, they still successfully applied for trademark registration for the first time on 1998, and since then Laodopted mother in Guizhou has also obtained a registered trademark. The marathon lawsuit lasted until March 20th, 20001year, and the Beijing Higher People's Court finally ruled that Kazuki Watanabe musician Food Co., Ltd. stopped using Laoganma's product name and bottle stickers similar to those produced by Guiyang Laoganma Company, and compensated Laoganma Company for economic losses of 400,000 yuan. More than two years after the final judgment, the State Trademark Office ruled on May 2, 20031that Laoganma used Laoganma for the first time in the flavor food it produced, approved the registration of Laoganma's trademark by Guiyang Laoganma Company, and rejected Kazuki Watanabe musician's application for registration of Laoganma's trademark. Revoke the trademark of "Liu Laoganma and Tu" registered by the food company. The lawsuit caused quite a stir in the economic and legal circles. Together with six writers' cases, such as Wang Meng v. Century Internet copyright case, Peking University Founder's "trap evidence collection" case and Olympic rings symbol case, it was called the classic case of intellectual property rights in Beijing High Court in recent ten years.

When Tao Huabi was running a low-priced hotel, Jiang Xingheng, then the head of Nanming District, learned that she was having difficulties in her operation and made a special trip to "visit incognito". At the gate of the hotel, Jiang Xingheng said to Tao Huabi, "Laoganma, don't worry about your development. If you have any difficulties, we will help you. " Tao Huabi doesn't know who the new comer is. He thought the other person was a "vegetable farmer" and asked strangely, "Are you helping me, or are you helping me?" During the development of Laoganma Company, governments at all levels in Guizhou Province gave strong support. From the concern of the leaders of Guizhou Province to the leaders of Nanming District of Guiyang City, they personally took the company personnel to the front line of counterfeiting. Laoganma Company, with its own efforts and the support of the government, has become another brand in Guizhou Province after Kweichow Moutai, Huangguoshu and Guizhou Magic. According to statistics, as a national key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization, the company has established 280,000 mu of pollution-free pepper bases in seven counties of Guizhou Province, forming an industrial chain extending from the field to the global market. "Laoganma" became famous, and other provinces and cities invited her to set up factories in other places, offering many preferential policies, which were all rejected by Tao Huabi. She said that future generations should stay and develop in Guizhou, make it bigger and stronger, and win glory for Guizhou.
