When will the subway from Taicang to Shanghai be open to traffic?

In 2024. According to the official website of Taicang Municipal People's Government, the Jia Min subway line from Taicang to Shanghai will be completed and opened to traffic in 2024. Jiamin line is a line of Shanghai regional railway and the first regional railway to be built in Shanghai. The project is about 44㎞ long from Chengbei Road Station to Yindu Road Station, with 15 stations. The construction period of the project is 6 years, with 8 CRH6F EMUs with the highest running speed of 160km/h, and the Jiamin line in Shanghai extends to Taicang in the north. This project is studied by China Railway Shanghai Design Institute. This is the second municipal railway in Shanghai extending to neighboring cities (the first line is the overseas Chinese branch line of 1 1), which will truly realize the geographical integration between Shanghai and Thailand.
