Catalog search rules: 1. There is a classified catalog and book list for readers to browse in the library or borrow books and periodicals. To check the catalog, you can refer to the catalog introduction and the instructions for using various catalogs in the lobby on the first floor and search by yourself; if you have any questions, please ask the staff for assistance. 2. The Directory Department carries out directory search consultation work. When checking the catalog, please do not flip through the catalog with saliva on your hands. It is prohibited to smear, deface, fold, pull out cards or make various marks in the catalog drawer. Reading rules in the library: 1. Reference books, Chinese periodicals, and newspapers in the collection have a special reading room where you can read them one by one. Ancient books, local literature, and library materials can be consulted with certificates, letters of introduction, and personal valid documents. 2. To check the books in the sample library, you must first go to the catalog hall to check the books, fill in the request form, and then go to the sample library reading room on the third floor with your personal ID to check. Readers are only allowed to bring personal notebooks and stationery into the open-shelf reading room, and other items can be deposited in the bag depository. 3. The books in each reading room can only be read in that room. After reading, put them back to their original places. Please do not take them outside. Readers who need to copy or reprint books and periodicals should contact the staff and go to the designated location for copying after completing the procedures. Rules for borrowing books and periodicals 1. Readers who hold the issued library card and the contact person of the interlibrary loan card can fill in the loan request form according to the regulations and go to the loan cashier to complete the loan procedures. Readers who borrow popular books and periodicals from the open-shelf lending area can choose books from the library. Books that have been taken off the shelves and are not ready to be borrowed should be returned to the original shelves according to the color codes. 2. After books and periodicals are registered for borrowing (the comprehensive loan library on the first floor is registered and managed by computer), please carefully check the catalog and registration status, and check whether the books and periodicals are damaged or have missing pages. If you find any problems, you should report them to the staff in a timely manner. 3. The issued library card is limited to the cumulative borrowing of two Chinese books, and the interlibrary loan card is limited to the cumulative borrowing of two Chinese books. Periodicals, newspapers, reference books, single general Chinese books, thread-bound ancient books, audio-visual materials, and rare books and special collections are not available for loan. The borrowing period of books is half a month at a time, and can be renewed for another half month at the end of the period. Personal library cards can be entrusted to others to borrow and return on your behalf.
