How to pass ts 16949 certification?

After reading several layers, the answers (except the truth of one layer, which is also commercial) are correct, but for a rookie without comprehensive TS experience, it is a bit reluctant to pass the certification.

The TS 16949 specification itself is not difficult. You only need to find a series of documents such as the quality manual, program files, customer-related process diagram, octopus diagram, turtle diagram, customer-related process, management process, auxiliary process classification matrix table of an enterprise that has implemented the 2009 edition, and it is no problem to modify them. The key is the application of five reference books by the technical department. Unless it is skillfully applied, it is impossible to pass this pass.

The five manuals of TS 16949 are five of the six reference books of QS-9000 standard issued by the three major American automobile companies in the 1990s (cancelled QSA quality system audit reference books), as follows:

1.APQP (pre-planning and control of product quality);

2.FMEA (potential failure mode and consequence analysis);

3.PPAP (approval of production parts);

4. Measurement system analysis;

5. Statistical process control.

The general application mode is:

1. When the product engineering department develops products according to customer requirements, it needs to adopt APQP process (divided into 4-5 stages) for development, and record the whole development process in the form of documents;

2. When the company undertakes the task of product design, it will involve the D (design) FNEA specification of FMEA. If there is no specification (it should be said that 99% of domestic automobile quality systems have not been designed since I was engaged in 1998), P (process) FMEA specification will be adopted (APQP with design is five stages, and without design, there will be one less stage);

3. The sample control plan specified by 3.APQP will be used in the early stage of product development, the pilot production development plan in the middle stage and the production control plan in the later stage; These three plans are the soul of the product. The production department carries out production according to the plan, and the quality assurance department carries out on-site inspection and functional test.

4. In the trial production stage, a small batch of products have been produced, and MSA will be carried out according to the APQP development plan to quantitatively test the measuring tools used. Only when the results are lower than the standard conditions can they be formally adopted;

5. In case of the same situation, after the small batch test, measure the products as planned, input the data into SPC database, and get the Cpk (Quality Capability Index) value, which is greater than 1.67 before continuing to control the plan;

6. At the same time as Article 5, the equipment capability index of the equipment used in product production shall be measured, and the Cpk value can be obtained. If it is greater than 1.67, you can continue to control the plan, otherwise replace the equipment.

7. After the trial production is completed, when sending samples to OEM (customers), it is necessary to submit relevant products and relevant documents according to the grading requirements of PPAP manual.

Generally speaking, if the enterprise is a rookie, self-study alone can not meet the TS requirements; TS specification is not difficult, but the use of five manuals is difficult.

I suggest that you don't have to consult a company. Now that you know more people, you can suggest that the boss recruit a person with full TS 16949 certificate in the local area. It should be said that many people know now. Long-term application of TS, to your enterprise to manage the system, engage in quality assurance, and deal with customer evaluation, is of great benefit to the enterprise. Hire a consultant and leave in the first half of the year. It is better to teach people to fish than to teach people to fish!
