Villages or individuals with good economic conditions hire famous teachers inside and outside the county to teach, and most villages hire teachers on the spot, with few readers. During the Republic of China, due to lack of funds, the enrollment rate of central schools and ethnic schools was very low. In 33 years of the Republic of China (1944), junior high school was founded, with few local students. 1949 After the liberation of Zherong, education has developed. Especially after the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Party, education has developed more rapidly. The primary and secondary schools in the county have basically achieved "nothing" (no dangerous houses, no classrooms, no desks and chairs). 1990, there were 243 primary schools in the county with students 10377, and the "four rates" of popularizing primary education met the requirements of the first type county in the province. Zherong is full of talented people. In history, Yuan Tianlu, the founding hero of the Ming Dynasty, participated in politics in Jiangxi, Si You, the political envoy of Huguang in the Ming Dynasty, participated in politics without complaint, You Pu, one of the editors of Sichuan Zongzhi in Wanli, and Fu Ning Zhouzhi, etc. China has two scholars, 10 jury and 26 tribute students. Ten thousand yuan GDP energy consumption and chemical oxygen demand, sulfur dioxide emissions control in the province, the city issued indicators. In the whole year, 29,776 mu of afforestation was completed, and 8 175 mu of "green passage" was built. In 2009, the traditional construction techniques of China wooden arch bridge, mainly declared by Pingnan, were listed in the list of intangible cultural heritage in urgent need of protection by UNESCO and became a world-class heritage. Four provincial cultural relics protection units have been added, with national intangible cultural heritage representative inheritors 1 person and provincial intangible cultural heritage representative projects 1 person. China was awarded the title of "Hometown of Folk Culture and Art" by the Ministry of Culture. The cultural and sports center completed the main project.
