Suzhou personal travel guide 20 17 Suzhou free travel guide
Traveling, you can suddenly polish your dim and tired eyes, you can stretch your frowning brows at will, you can throw away your troubles at will, and you can broaden your mind infinitely.
In June of that year, 165438+ 10, I spent three days floating, and settled myself in Suzhou, which I have been longing for for for for a long time, and wandered along the longitude and latitude of the ancient city of Gusu.
Suzhou is a woman with lilac-like sadness. Quiet and ancient light and shadow set off a graceful face. She came to me with her eyes hanging down and an oil-paper umbrella.
0 1 looming in the city-lion forest
The hotel is located in the alley with concentrated scenic spots in the ancient city, named "Bashang Lane". The streets around me are criss-crossed, and I can go directly to the Humble Administrator's Garden and Lion Grove. Of course, Humble Administrator's Garden is the most popular garden in Suzhou. In terms of scenery, scale and fame, other gardens are naturally inferior. Considering that the garden pays attention to allusions, and the focus of this trip is to measure ancient streets on foot, I chose to go to Lion Forest.
If it is said that Xiaoyin is far away from the temple to plant chrysanthemums in Nanshan, then the Suzhou Garden, which is quiet in the noise, conforms to the ideal of literati who are hidden in the city. Lion Forest has two names: one is named after countless rockeries that look like lions. Many old people in Suzhou climbed rockeries and hid in this garden when they were young. Second, Buddhist disciples in the Yuan Dynasty built it to commemorate the feelings of teachers and students, and interpreted "lion" as "teacher", which can also be used to explain Buddhist terms "Leo" and "Lion Roar".
The lion forest can be described as a sparrow, although small and complete, which is enough to glimpse the characteristics of Suzhou gardens. The promenade in the garden is round, the hall is solemn and the winding path is secluded. There are appropriate stone tablets such as "winning" and "exploring the secluded" above the doorways everywhere. There is a circular and four-petal-shaped outline at the door, which is a good photo frame to frame the rugged rocks and green cypress trees in the garden. Taking pictures at any stop is the effect of people traveling in a picture world.
It's early winter, and the flowers and trees are depressed, but there are still towering ancient camphor trees and vigorous Gu Song. There is a green water in the garden, and the artificially built high-slope waterfall winds down, making the pool water in the garden as smart as new.
The stone bridges and pavilions on the pool are strewn at random, and the residual load in the water quivers slightly with the wind. There is a labyrinth of rockery, and there are several passages in the rockery. I tried to cross here, but after many thoughts, the road was blocked, so I climbed up and down among the rockeries for a while, but I couldn't reach the other side of the pool. After several turns, I couldn't find a way out and had to return. No wonder Emperor Qianlong personally wrote the word "true interest" and imitated a similar rockery in Beijing. Considering that the gardener is really ingenious, a rockery is still full of "institutions", not to mention the layout and structure of the whole garden?
I'm just a layman in garden art, and I can't interpret it with a professional eye. I just think that all kinds of elements are properly matched, which makes people feel relaxed, peaceful and serene, and may be an ideal place to place "hidden in the city".
02 Petty bourgeoisie distribution center-Pingjiang Road
If you see young people aged 20-35 in Pingjiang Road, Suzhou, sitting quietly by the bridge with headphones in their ears, spreading a book by Haruki Murakami or Baby Anne on the table, holding delicate white porcelain cups with slender fingers and occasionally sipping mellow coffee, there is no doubt that they are legendary petty bourgeoisie and are defined as "literary youth" by popular labels. Or depressed, suspected of dancing school.
Pingjiang Road provides petty bourgeoisie with all the elements of carrying dreams. There are not only Suzhou characteristic water towns with "parallel land and water and adjacent rivers and streets", but also reserved characteristic shops, where classical and modern, outdated and innovative are perfectly integrated.
The flowing of a clear river is the constant blood and vitality of this city for thousands of years. Occasionally, boatmen and tourists paddle past, and wooden paddles cross small rivers, whispering about the past. The ancient house of Daiwa with white walls, like a continuous roll of ink painting, is covered with weeping willows and holly on the river bank. Weathered walls are mottled by time, vines crawl along the walls, and moss is wet like light green pigment spilled at will. There are red lanterns hanging under the eaves, which add some amazing colors to the gray tone, just like the red chloden painted on the fingertips of a woman with a plain face.
On the river surface of Pingjiang Road, there are dozens of stone bridges that have watched the ancient town of Gusu for hundreds of years. After crossing the bridge, they also walked into the homes of ordinary people in ordinary alleys. They lit a faint light and said soft words about Wunong, gradually burying their long history in the daily life of fireworks.
Here, specialty shops are arranged in turn along the ancient streets. Tea shops, clothing stores, bookstores, cafes, restaurants and hotels all have different moods. The name of the store is meaningful and the decoration is unique. Most shopkeepers have petty bourgeoisie complex, listening to songs, reading books and chatting. Even in the off-season, they don't deliberately attract business. Just walk into a concept bookstore, buy a famous hand-painted map of Suzhou, buy a cup of signature milk tea and sit down.
Here, time is wasted, there is no need to race against time. To tell the truth, this famous milk tea is not as delicious as the legend. I even think it's powder mixed with white, and the real thing is not worth it, but-indoors, music flows slowly, outside the window, sloppy pedestrians pass by, and time is so quiet and lovely, what's the point?
Grandma who sells white orchids hobbles, and her kind face with silver hair reminds me of my grandmother. So I bought one, and my grandmother kindly pinned it on my skirt with a dollar, in exchange for a fragrant flower and a warm little touch. Pingjiang Road, instead of looking at the flowers in the fog through the barrier, is filled with a strong local flavor, which allows you to get close to each other and really feel the clear pulse of people living under the bridge.
Mengliyuan-Kunqu Opera Museum
Kunqu opera has a history of more than 600 years, which is different from the majestic atmosphere of Beijing opera. The delicate and graceful human and geographical environment in the south gave birth to the unique Kunqu Opera "Shuimo Opera", and the performers' singing, chanting, sitting and playing were full of emotions.
Suzhou Kunqu Opera Museum is in the hutong of Pingjiang Road, next to others. Its predecessor was the All-Jin Guild Hall built by Shanxi merchants. There are circular corridors, small pond pavilions, rockeries and green bananas in the museum, but at this time, the season is bleak, the drizzle is like silk, and the figure is sparse. The museum displays ancient books, props, wood carvings, inscriptions and New Year pictures related to Kunqu Opera, all of which show the grand occasion of listening to Kunqu Opera in the past.
There is an ancient stage in the museum, and the plaque reads "Celebrate the whole world", which is in contrast to the sparse silence of the scene at this time. Two strings of red lanterns hung on the cornices, stained with pigeon gray sky and empty stage.
Sitting there in a daze, the uneven contrast of time makes people feel trance. In The Peony Pavilion, Du Liniang and Liu Mengmei's flowing eyes, fluttering clothes and faint songs seem to penetrate the mountains and rivers.
"It turns out that there are colorful flowers everywhere, as if they were paid for broken wells and broken walls. What is a beautiful day and who is happy? Twilight, clouds and smoke, wind and rain films, smoke and waves painting boats, what Jinping people have seen is so embarrassing. " What a discounted "dream in the garden"! The classic love between life and death is a dream. Maybe everyone has some classical feelings in their hearts. It can be "flowers and plants are loved by people" or "life and death are as people wish", which makes people willing to take half a day out of the bleak years like boiled water and walk into the theater with the actors to find their dreams.
How can you know spring scenery until you get to the garden? How can you know the ancient rhyme when you arrive in Suzhou? Now that I have finished singing, my trip to Suzhou should be over. Let me slowly stew what I have seen and thought in these three days, and continue my classical dream with this long-lost feeling of returning to Gansu.
