At the beginning, Jin Weidong was the general manager of the company, Ding Yunfeng was mainly responsible for feed formulation, while Zhang Tiesheng and Wang Yang were responsible for marketing. So, he personally went to Beijing to consult his former partner Ding Yunfeng. Ding Yunfeng didn't keep it, but taught him how to prepare feed.

Soon, Zhang Tiesheng Tiandi brand feed came into the market. One day in July, 1994, Zhang Tiesheng was checking the feed that had just been produced in the workshop of the factory. Suddenly, the security guard of the factory rushed in and said that some farmers were making trouble outside. When Zhang Tiesheng walked out of the factory gate, it turned out that the chicks raised by those farmers had not grown up because they had eaten Tiandi brand feed, but they were paralyzed one by one. After learning the details, Zhang Tiesheng immediately rushed to the scene of the incident and took the chick lying on the ground back for inspection. As a result, he found that the fluorine content of the feed they had just produced exceeded the standard because the production quality was not strictly controlled. Zhang Tiesheng paid more than 6, yuan in cash to the farmers who suffered losses. After the news came out, for a time, many suppliers demanded to return the goods. In order to stabilize the market, Zhang Tiesheng immediately stopped the production of feed, shut himself up at home and devoted himself to studying new feed formulas. A week later, he finally formulated a new feed formula.

With the new formula, Zhang Tiesheng began to re-enter its own Tiandi feed market. However, due to the last incident, it is even more difficult to sell feed. In addition, Taiwan Province Dacheng Feed, an internationally renowned brand feed at that time, has entered the Shenyang market. Zhang Tiesheng is very clear, at this time, if you compete with it, it is obviously an egg hitting a stone. So, he adopted a "follow-up" strategy, that is, the price of Tiandi feed was positioned in 5 yuan, which was lower than Dacheng's, and Zhang Tiesheng followed Dacheng wherever it was sold. Because the price of Tiandi feed is lower than Dacheng feed, and the formula has been improved, one year later, Zhang Tiesheng made Tiandi brand feed gain a firm foothold in Shenyang. By 1995, Tiandi feed had occupied most of the feed market in Shenyang.

On June 18th, 1995, Zhang Tiesheng's former partner Jin Weidong and others formally registered and established Hefeng Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. (later changed to a group company) in Shenyang. So, in early 1998, Tiandi Feed Company was formally merged into Hefeng Company, and Zhang Tiesheng and his partner Wang Yang (who later withdrew their shares) entered the management of Hefeng Company in the form of 1% equity participation. Zhang Tiesheng, 53, is not only the commercial and political director of the group company, but also the chairman of the board of supervisors. Hefeng Animal Husbandry (Group) Co., Ltd. has become a large group with net assets exceeding 1 million yuan and 17 subsidiaries. On July 3th, 214, the last new stock, Hefeng Animal Husbandry (73269), was officially issued in Shanghai Stock Exchange.

According to the prospectus of Hefeng Animal Husbandry, Zhang Tiesheng holds 32.24 million shares, ranking the sixth largest shareholder of the company, accounting for 6.8% of the total share capital before issuance. At the same time, Zhang Tiesheng is one of the seven main founders of Hefeng Animal Husbandry.
