1, nationality requirements:

Foreign children's schools only recruit pure foreign students, and do not accept international schools for China students. Private international schools do not require students to register. The international department of public schools is based on the results of the senior high school entrance examination, and most of them are Shanghai students. International courses (centers) are affiliated to domestic educational institutions and have independent campuses.

2, social security/temporary residence permit requirements:

Whether you need a residence permit to enter an international school is different for different students. In compulsory primary education, parents need residence permit and social security, and children also need residence permit. For the non-compulsory education stage of high school, it is no longer restricted by household registration, and non-Shanghai students do not need to provide residence permits and other conditions to apply. Primary school (grade 1-grade 5): RMB 70,000 per student per semester;

Junior high school (grades 6 -8): RMB 75,000 per student per semester;
