To get the national fitness instructor qualification certificate, you need to go to a fitness instructor training institution designated by the state for 7 days to participate in the unified assessment. The assessment process is divided into three parts: theory, physical fitness and practical operation.

Boys have 40 push-ups, 60 squats with their bare hands, sit forward and rest for 5 seconds.

Girls 15 push-ups, 40 squats with bare hands, and the sitting position is static for 5 seconds.

Practical part: The primary fitness instructor's main assessment content: resistance training+stretching training+cardiopulmonary training.

Candidates draw lots for two specific muscles and extract one muscle as the assessment content of resistance training; Under the supervision of the invigilator, first, resistance training, including action demonstration drills, is carried out, and the ten steps and precautions of resistance training are described; Secondly, demonstrate and explain another kind of muscle stretching exercise; Finally, demonstrate and explain the cardio-pulmonary endurance training according to the equipment designated by the examiner.

Those who pass the examination will obtain the national vocational qualification certificate issued by the National Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Personnel Department of the State Sports General Administration. This certificate is the only officially recognized authoritative qualification certificate for fitness coaches in the national sports industry. The certificate is unified throughout the country and valid for a long time.
