Jiuhua Mountain Travel Guide

Although I am not a Buddhist, I go to many Buddhist resorts every year. Jiuhua Mountain is one of my favorite places. It feels like charging here. You can come and feel it sometime.

Jiuhua Mountain is one of the four famous Buddhist mountains, and it is also the Dojo of Tibetan Bodhisattva. There are wonderful Huangshan Mountain and quiet Emei Mountain Temple. The giant Buddha is as solemn as Mount Putuo with beautiful scenery. It will be a little cold on the mountain, and the temperature will be lower than that in Chizhou city!

All kinds of tickets:

1, tickets; There are off-season and peak season, the off-season (from 1 15 in last year to15 in next year)140 yuan, and the peak season (from 16 in October to 1655). There will be some discount tickets or free tickets. You can look at the major travel websites that sell air tickets.

2. Scenic traffic: 50 yuan.

3. Cableway ticket:

Rooftop ropeway: Go up to 85 yuan, down to 85 yuan, round trip 160 yuan.

Centennial Palace Cable Car: The highest is 55 yuan, the lowest is 55 yuan, round trip 100 yuan.

Huatai cableway: go up to 85 yuan and down to 85 yuan, and return to 160 yuan.

You can buy it on site, online or on the free bus from high-speed railway station to Jiuhuashan.

The traffic hours of scenic spots are 06:30- 17:00.

The operation time of roof ropeway is 07:00- 17:00.

The opening hours of Quanshan Temple are 7:00- 17:00.

Walk for about 50 minutes to Baisui Palace (walking is recommended).

It takes about 130 minutes to walk to the rooftop (to the ropeway).

Dayuan Cultural Park is open at 8:00- 17:00.

If you stay in Jiuhua Mountain for one night, you can go to Tiantai Scenic Area/Huatai/Dayuan Cultural Park the next day and visit the icon of Tibetan Bodhisattva.

Recommended key temples in Jiuhua Mountain

Moon Hall: The most popular temple in Jiuhua Mountain, where the Tibetan Bodhisattva lectured before his death, contains the true body of the Tibetan Bodhisattva.

Centennial Palace: First, the body of an immaculate monk, who lived to 126 years old; The second is the 500 Arhat Hall, and the third is the giant mountain natural sleeping Buddha (the peak on the back of Arhat Hall).

Huacheng Temple: Kaishan Zu Temple, Jiuhua's "General Jungle", was mentioned by emperors in Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Tanyuan Temple: one of the four Zen forests in Jiuhua Mountain, it is resplendent and magnificent, and the Tibetan Temple is even more interesting. The pagoda in hell is shocking.

Lin Tan: This building is large in scale, and consists of three halls: Hall of Great Compassion, Hall of Great Compassion and Hall of Great Wish. Bodhisattva with body (bright and clean).

Tiantai Temple: the main peak of Jiuhua Mountain, a must-see place for pilgrimage. Take the cableway up the mountain and climb to the top about 1 hour. The scenery is beautiful.

Tips:

1, Jiuhua Street eats a lot, and the price is OK.

Jiuhua Mountain is not suitable for special forces to travel, but you still need to feel the atmosphere here.

3. Don't feed wild macaques.

4. No foreign incense is allowed in Jiuhua Mountain, and pilgrims who enter the temple can receive three incense sticks for free.
