Difference between Gan Long Railway and Double Track Railway

Gan Long Railway runs from Ganzhou, Jiangxi to Longyan, Fujian, with a total length of 290. 1 km. 200/kloc-0 started on February 8, 2000 and was paved on February 30, 2004. Gan Long Railway is a direct railway trunk line to Dajingjiu. However, due to low construction standards, its capacity has been saturated. The implementation of Gan Long Railway (double track) capacity expansion project is of great significance to promote poverty alleviation and coordinated development of regional economy in the old revolutionary areas along the line, and to strengthen economic exchanges between the central region and the southeast coastal areas. The newly-built double-track railway consists of Ganxian, Du Yu, Xijiang, Ruijin, Changting South, Guanzhishan, Shanghangbei and Longyan * * *, among which Changting South and Shanghangbei Station are newly-built stations, and the rest all use existing stations.
