No. Quanzhou Shishi Ocean Vocational College was established in 2009. Approved by the Fujian Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education, it is included in the National College Entrance Examination Unified Recruitment Plan and has the qualification to independently issue national academic certificates. It belongs to a private school, not a public school. Relying on the marine cultural heritage of Quanzhou Millennium ancient port, the college has built a 2-kilometer-long stone carving landscape fence of Hayes culture, a world special ship exhibition hall, a marine culture exhibition hall, a marine science and technology film and television exhibition hall, and the only party building and ideological and political museum with the theme of sea power in domestic universities.
