The report "The First Insight into Work Trends" shows that the average working time of the first post-80s job is 43 months globally, while the average working time of post-90s jobs is only 19 months.

Nearly 40% of the post-80s generation never changed jobs, and only 5.3% changed jobs frequently.

Why is this happening?

Nowadays, most of the post-80s generation are over 35 years old. Apart from the solidification of the work field and social circle, many units are not friendly to them, which is why this group is unwilling to quit.

We started working when we were almost 23 years old. The average person's working time is about 35 years, that is to say, we have worked for most of our lives.

In Confucianism's view, standing at the age of 30 and not being confused at the age of 40 is to determine your ambition around the age of 30, so as to settle down. By the age of 40, you will no longer feel confused and know how to spend your life, and the premise of all this is that the average life expectancy is less than 60 years (in ancient China).

In today's society, age is no longer a cage for one's development.

In the research field of adult psychology, the standard orientation of human early adulthood is 18-35 years old.

That is, before the age of 35, our understanding of the world is often not comprehensive enough. After the age of 35, our understanding of the world tends to be comprehensive, our physical fitness is close to the peak, and our minds tend to be mature. Compared with the 20-year-old youth, this age is the prime time.

Therefore, in the case of a substantial increase in human life span, it is no longer age that binds our personal development, but our own attitude towards age. Many enterprises are unfriendly to people over the age of 35, and they are usually just solidified screening mechanisms. For truly capable people, enterprises will never take age as a hard standard.

Clear Planning for Self-development The professors of Harvard University conducted a group experiment on a group of people with similar backgrounds and conditions.
