What are the six key products that China-Ukraine Aviation Development Company will highlight in the future cooperation?

Beijing Tianjiao Aviation Industry Investment Co., Ltd. and its subsidiary Chongqing Tianjiao Aviation Power Co., Ltd. (collectively referred to as Tianjiao Aviation) jointly participated in the 17th Beijing International Aviation Exhibition, which opened in Beijing National Convention Center on September 19. The two sides made a wonderful appearance with six kinds of aero-engines, showing the new achievements of Sino-Ukrainian aero-power cooperation and presenting the business system and development plan of cooperation between the two sides.

The two companies emphasized six key products for future cooperation.

The AI-322-25 turbofan engine can be equipped on China L- 15 advanced trainer and Russian Jacques-130 advanced trainer.

TV3-/KOOC-0//KOOC-0/7 VMA-SBM/KOOC-0/V series turboshaft engines are mainly installed on Russian Mi series and Ka series helicopters, which have excellent reliability and adaptability in extreme conditions such as high altitude areas and can meet the urgent needs of scientific research, material transportation and rescue in China.

The AI-450C turboprop engine is mainly used in light multi-purpose aircraft, trainers and unmanned aerial vehicles, and its fuel consumption is more than 20% lower than that of similar products. Both DA-50 and DART-450 produced by Austrian Diamond Airlines are equipped with this product.

The MS- 14 turboprop engine, with AV- 17 or AV-36 propeller, can provide power for a regional plane carrying 30 people, and won the type certificate of the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) of the Commonwealth of Independent States;

The MS-500V turboshaft engine was awarded the type certificate by the Interstate Aviation Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States in 20 14, and can be installed on a multi-purpose helicopter with a take-off weight of 3.5 tons to 6 tons.

AI-9V- 1 Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) is the latest improvement of AI-9V, which has greater power extraction capacity, and can be used as ground or airborne power supply to provide compressed air flow for helicopter engine starting system.

Among them, the physical engine exhibited at the air show and official website of the Yvchenko-Progressive Design Bureau declared that the AI-322 had been equipped with China L- 15AJT trainer and put into production in 2009.

In fact, the AI-322 is closely related to the AI-222 engine equipped with China L 15 trainer and Russian Jacques 130 trainer, and even can be said to be a modification of the same engine.

Russia and Ukraine once designed the engine used by Jacques 130. Based on the AI-22 twin-rotor turbofan engine, they redesigned the combustion chamber and high and low pressure turbines, and used the high-pressure gas generator from the D-27 turbofan engine to design the AI-222-25 turbofan engine. The prototype was tested for the first time in June 2003.

However, due to the bad relationship between Russia and Ukraine in 20 14, the two sides dissolved the cooperation relationship of AI-222-25 engine. Russian Salute Company realized the localization of AI-222-25 in 20 15 and began to equip Jacques-130 trainer in batches. However, for Madsic, which is responsible for the production of this engine in Uzbekistan, it has lost the vast market of Jacques-130 and can only pin all its hopes on the China L- 15 trainer.

In order to open up the market, Madsic Company renamed this engine AI-322 and AI-322F (afterburner), which is different from AI-222-25 produced by salute in Russia.
