Russian Salute Company realized the localization of AI-222-25 in 20 15 and began to equip Jacques-130 trainer in batches. However, for Madsic, which is responsible for the production of this engine in Uzbekistan, it has lost the vast market of Jacques-130 and can only pin all its hopes on the China L- 15 trainer.
In order to open up the market, Madsic Company renamed this engine AI-322 and AI-322F (afterburner), which is different from AI-222-25 produced by salute in Russia.
