Do cabin cleaners need to follow the plane?

Under normal circumstances, the cabin cleaner does not need to follow the plane. The main responsibility of the aircraft cabin cleaner is to clean and tidy the cabin during the aircraft docking, including cleaning the seat, wiping the surface with a rag, replacing the seat cover and so on. They usually work in the engine room quickly after the plane lands, and leave the plane before or after the passengers board the plane.

However, in some cases, especially long-distance flights or overnight flights, airlines may arrange random flights for cleaning staff. This can ensure that the sanitary condition of the cabin is maintained continuously, thus providing a good comfortable environment for passengers. However, this situation is not common. Most of the time, the aircraft cabin cleaner only works on the ground.
