What is FRP sculpture? Production technology and price of FRP.

Glass fiber reinforced plastic sculpture is a finished product type of avenue arts and crafts, which has the characteristics of light weight, corrosion resistance and relatively low cost. Also known as FRP, the scientific name is fiber reinforced plastic, which is customarily called FRP in China. It is a composite material with synthetic resin as matrix material and glass fiber and its products as reinforcement material. Sculpture is very common. We can see very creative sculptures in communities, roadsides, squares, parks and other places. Many people also hope that some creative sculptures can be arranged at home to improve the quality of their homes. So, what is FRP sculpture? What is the production technology and price of FRP? I believe this is one of the topics that people care about. If you are interested in this aspect, you might as well come in and find out what FRP sculpture is!

What is FRP sculpture?

Sculpture art is progressing with the development of society, from the initial clay sculpture, wood carving and stone carving to the later bronze, ceramic sculpture and metal alloy sculpture.

Glass fiber reinforced plastic sculpture is a finished sculpture, which has the characteristics of light weight, corrosion resistance and relatively low cost. It is also called FRP, which is scientifically called FRPGlassFribereinforced Plastics, and is customarily called FRP in China. It is a composite material with synthetic resin as matrix material and glass fiber and its products as reinforcement material.

Manufacturing technology of FRP;

Manufacturing technology of FRP: Before manufacturing the finished product, the products to be manufactured are molded into corresponding products with specific mud. After the clay sculpture draft is made, turn over the gypsum external mold, and then coat the glass fiber reinforced plastic (that is, the combination of resin and glass fiber cloth) inside the external mold. After it is dried, the outer mold is opened, and the finished product of FRP sculpture is obtained through the closing procedure. However, after outdoor exposure and wind erosion, FRP sculptures generally begin to deform, break and crack more than five years.

Production technology of FRP;

I. Design and shaping

Excellent sculpture works need a good design foundation, and the design of FRP sculpture should consider the characteristics of its data and technology. Glass fiber reinforced plastic technology is easy to shape beautiful streamlined products, which can highlight the modernity and sense of the times of the works. Arc and streamline can be given priority in design. In addition, because FRP has the advantages of light weight and high strength, it can make works with strong mobility and small supporting area. Sometimes FRP sculptures need to be coated with gel coat. Because the gel coat is self-leveling, it has a certain leveling effect under the action of external tension during the curing process, so it is not suitable for expressing detailed texture in this case. These are all considerations when designing. The original mold of FRP sculpture can be molded by clay sculpture, and the ordinary mold can be completed by professionals. After the sculpture work is completed, it is naturally boring. After it has a certain strength, the manufacture of FRP sculpture molds can be stopped.

Second, glass fiber reinforced plastic manufacturing industry

The glass fiber reinforced plastic sculpture is formed by hand paste molding. Before manufacturing, the mold will synthesize several units according to the shape characteristics of the sculpture and from the point of view of facilitating molding and demoulding. According to this, unit products are formed and then combined into a whole. Finally, the whole product is treated and painted to make a FRP sculpture.

1, mold manufacturing

Mold manufacturing is the key to FRP molding. Gypsum material is often used to make FRP sculpture molds, but gypsum material has low strength, long standing time and easy deformation. This paper introduces a better method of making FRP sculpture molds, that is, using silicone rubber and FRP materials to make the most complete, hottest and professional literature resources, and the library can catch all the molds.

2. The silicone rubber data is in a fluid state before application and has good fluidity and filling property. The elastic deformation of rubber elastomer formed by crosslinking reaction after preparation is large, and the water in the original mold has no effect on its crosslinking reaction. Crosslinked silicone rubber has good sealing performance and does not stick to the original mold and FRP. Using it as the outer surface material of FRP sculpture mold can not only reproduce the shape of the work with high quality, but also ensure the smooth demoulding. However, cross-linked silicone rubber is easy to deform, so it needs a supporting carrier when it is used as a mold. By applying the formability of FRP, it can be used as the carrier data of mould.

3. The detailed mold manufacturing method is that the prepared silicone rubber is spread on the original mold several times, and the silicone rubber layer should be above1mm. After the silicone rubber is crosslinked, a layer of glass fiber reinforced plastic with a thickness of about 3mm is formed on the silicone rubber. After the glass fiber reinforced plastic is cured, cut the whole mold along the divided unit blocks, and pay attention to cutting the glass fiber reinforced plastic layer and the silicone rubber layer at the same time. Connecting ribs should be made between the unit blocks, and grooves should be set at the joint to ensure that the unit block molds are combined into a whole through the joint. After the above work is completed, the FRP unit block is demoulded, and then the silicone rubber layer is removed, and the removed silicone rubber block is immediately put back into the FRP unit mold.

Dust removal of original mold → preparation of silicone rubber → manufacture of silicone rubber layer → manufacture of glass fiber reinforced plastic layer → parting mold → manufacture of connecting rib → demoulding and assembling mold.

4. Forming and manufacturing

Glass fiber reinforced plastic sculpture adopts hand paste molding method, and the molding line should be designed before manufacturing. Starting from one end of the sculpture, combine some molds and paste the products. After the first part is cured, assemble the mold and continue to paste the product. On the premise of convenient molding operation, assemble as many mold unit blocks as possible at one time. This is repeated, and finally a unit block is left, preformed and glued to the whole sculpture. Parts of FRP sculptures, such as the horns, legs and tails of animals, which are difficult to manufacture by the above methods, can be made into approximate shapes with corresponding metal materials, and then the FRP is molded on the metal materials and trimmed by grinding.

5. Sculpture surfaces are generally complicated, so special treatment should be taken when paving. Where it is difficult to lay glass fiber felt, it should be filled with resin containing short fibers first, and then glass fiber chopped felt and plaid cloth should be laid. The length of the glass fiber in the resin putty on the outer surface of the sculpture is 65438 00 mm,

6. Proportion data of resin putty for sculpture exterior decoration: The amount of polyester resin, glass fiber, CaCO3 filler pigment, methyl ethyl ketone naphthalene peroxide cobalt1002010022-40.5-4 An important problem in FRP sculpture molding is to strengthen the structure. Metal profiles are commonly used for reinforcement data, and the metal profiles are welded into carved plastic endoskeleton (reproduced online by Xiao Liu resin). In the process of molding and manufacturing, the metal skeleton is gradually buried in the sculpture. This can improve the stiffness and strength of FRP sculpture and prolong its service life. Finally, the glass fiber reinforced plastic sculpture is assembled into a mold through a metal skeleton device → filling the surface putty → laying short cut felt → laying grid cloth → burying the skeleton → demoulding the final product.

Third, the later disposal

On the one hand, the post-treatment of FRP sculpture is to repair some defects of the product after demoulding, and more importantly, to create an appearance effect. The common appearance effects are imitation copper color and imitation bronze color, and the key is to prepare color paste.

The amount of molybdate red phthalocyanine blue phthalocyanine green dibutyl copper powder is 550.30.50000.

The amount of chromium yellow phthalocyanine blue molybdate red dibutyl copper powder in the data is +0.50000000000 1

Glass fiber reinforced plastic sculpture price:

At present, we have seen quite a few FRP sculptures, which are very creative and beautiful. Many people want to know the price of FRP sculpture, but the price of FRP sculpture is not fixed, depending on the specific situation of FRP sculpture. Basically speaking, there are two price factors in FRP sculpture:

1, complexity of modeling: FRP sculptures usually need to make molds. If the modeling is simple, the cost of mold development will be reduced a lot, and the cost of complex molds will be many times higher.

2. The number of sculptures: after developing a mold, sometimes it is just to make a product, and the whole mold cost will spread into this product, of course, the price will be high. If it is mass production, a mold will make dozens of products, the mold cost will be diluted, and the product price will be much lower.
