China Women's University Shandong Branch is a women's college with the approval of the former State Education Commission and the Shandong Provincial People's Government, led by the All-China Women's Federation and the Shandong Provincial People's Government, focusing on higher vocational education at the official level, as well as adult junior college and undergraduate education, post training for women cadres, vocational skills training and Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools. Her predecessor was Shandong Women's Cadre School, which was founded in 1952 and has a history of 54 years. 1984, the college began to hold junior college education; 1987 was upgraded to Shandong branch of China Women Management Cadre College; 1995, the General Institute was renamed Shandong Branch of China Women's University, and began to hold general higher vocational education and higher vocational education. Over the years, the college has not only played an important role in the development of higher education, but also assumed a special historical mission in implementing the basic national policy of equality between men and women and promoting the development of women.

The new campus of the College is located in the Science Park of Changqing University in Jinan, covering an area of 1.200 mu, with a planned total construction area of 302,600 square meters. The first phase project 1.26 million square meters was completed and put into use in September 2005, becoming the first university in the University Science Park. Preparations for the 40,000-square-meter project under construction and the second phase of the project have started one after another. There are 30 majors in higher vocational colleges and 22 majors in adult colleges, including decorative art design, music education, dance education, fashion design and production, fashion performance and design, and environmental art design. Among them, the major of social work and management is listed as the pilot major of national professional teaching reform.

In recent years, the college has continuously increased its teaching investment, with the total value of teaching instruments and equipment reaching more than 20 million yuan, and the library has 588,000 books. At present, the Sino-foreign cooperative education projects carried out by the college include the tenth grade in Queensland, Australia, the MBA program for three-year junior college in Estonia, the Finnish international key high school project, and the Jiangzhichuan high school project in Japan. Recently, I applied for a double diploma program in accounting major (junior college) in cooperation with Australia. There are more than 600 international students in Queensland, Australia, and there are more than 100 students in Estonian MBA program. In 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the College set up an intermediary agency for studying abroad-Shandong Haoyuan Study Abroad Service Center. At present, it has obtained three legal qualifications: hiring foreign teachers to teach in China, Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, and consulting services for studying abroad visas.
