Graduate study abroad and undergraduate study abroad

It depends on which school you go to!

If it is the top 8 Ivy League schools in the United States, Cambridge and Oxford in the UK, and the London School of Economics and Political Science,

If it is one of the above schools, then go for your undergraduate degree!

If it’s another school, it doesn’t matter if you’re studying as an undergraduate or as a graduate student. As someone who has been there and has been working for 2 years, I can give you my sincere experience.

I am a returnee from Australia, a postgraduate student, and a graduate of a prestigious Australian university. After returning to China, I went through interviews and written tests with Fortune 500 companies, and later worked for a large group and worked in human recruitment, so I have a relatively good understanding of the situation of returning from abroad.

Nowadays, domestic HR people do not know every school abroad, so once you go to a school that you have never heard of in China, it will be useless even if you start in high school. HR attaches great importance to undergraduate schools. Just imagine if you are an undergraduate from Tsinghua University or Peking University, HR will rank these schools as high-quality, so naturally they attach great importance to them. This is not discrimination by the school. It is indeed the case. The basic quality of students from Tsinghua, Peking University and several major universities in Beijing is indeed different from that of graduates from other provinces.

I am not a graduate of any prestigious school in China, so my above remarks are based on real experiences and are not discrimination. I hope you can seriously consider my words.

Domestic HR attaches great importance to undergraduate schools when looking at resumes. It is best to be a well-known foreign school. If not, it is better to study at a school with a good reputation in China that is also favored by HR. This is the best policy.
