Shenzhen Book City Center covers an area of 8.7 hectares with a building area of 82,000 square meters. It is a single-story frame structure, designed by Japanese "Kurokawa Zhangji Architectural Design Office" and "Kellison Architectural Office", with a business area of 42,000 square meters. It is the largest single-store bookstore in the world at present, and is listed as a key project of Shenzhen Municipal Government in 2003-2004.
