The Xihu Railway Passenger Transport Renovation and Upgrading Project is the first demonstration project in Shaanxi Province to use existing railways as public transportation to operate municipal passenger trains. The total length of the line is 26.3 kilometers, with a maximum design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. It has 5 stations including Huyi Station, Wuzhu Station, Mawang Station, Kunmingchi Station, and Afanggong South Station. .

After the reconstruction, the Xihu Railway will mainly focus on business and passenger flow, taking into account commuter passenger flow, and can meet the freight function needs of enterprises along the line.
