Being-Tangshan intercity opening in 2022? Will Beijing-Tangshan Intercity be opened to traffic in October?

The Beijing-Tangshan intercity line has been successfully opened and will be officially put into operation on September 30, 2022, with 11 departures per day. The Beijing-Tangshan intercity railway starts from Beijing Station and ends at Tangshan Station in Tangshan City. The entire line is 148.74 kilometers long. Since its opening, the Beijing-Tangshan intercity railway has occupied a very important position in the intercity rail transit network in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

There are eight stations along the Beijing-Tangshan Intercity Railway, including Beijing Sub-Central Station, Xianghe Station, and Tangshan West Station. Two of them were upgraded at existing stations, namely Tangshan Station and Yanjiao Station. Six new stations including Dachang Station, Baodi Station and Tangshan West Station were added. Among them, Baodi South Station is an elevated station with a platform size of 4 stations and 10 lines.

The Beijing-Tangshan Intercity Railway started construction on December 9, 2016, and will officially operate on September 30, 2022. The running speed of Beijing-Tangshan intercity railway is different in different regions. For example, the running speed between Beijing Station and Yanjiao Station is 200 kilometers per hour, but the running speed between Dachang Station and Xianghe Station is 300 kilometers per hour.

Since the successful opening of the Beijing-Tangshan intercity railway, it can better promote the development of cities along the line. It can also integrate tourism resources around the Bohai Sea to better promote tourism in cities along the route.
