Second, technology.

Coaxial thick cable

A thick cable should not be wriggled, but should be laid naturally and straight;

B the bending radius of thick cable should be greater than 30cm.

C the distance between workstations installed on thick cables should be more than 25m;

D thick cable joints shall be installed firmly to prevent signal short circuit;

E. The thick cable shall be laid in the cable trough to prevent the cable from being damaged;

F. Don't use too much force when laying thick cable guy rope to prevent winding;

G. The thick cable of each network segment should be less than 500m, and several thick cables can be connected with thick cable connectors, but the total length should not exceed 500m and there should not be too many connectors;

H terminators must be installed at both ends of the thick cable of each network segment, and one of them must be grounded;

A, coaxial thick cable can be installed outdoors, but protective measures should be taken, buried in the ground and along the wall part should add steel pipe, in case of accidental damage.

Coaxial thin cable

A. thin cable laying should not be kinked;

B the bending radius of thin cable should be greater than 20cm.

C the distance between workstations installed on thin cables should be greater than 0.5m

D thin cable joints shall be installed firmly to prevent signal short circuit;

E. Thin cables shall be routed in cable troughs to prevent cable damage;

F. When laying thin cables, don't pull hard to prevent them from breaking;

G. A section of thin cable should be less than 183m, and two sections of thin cable within 183m can generally be extended by connecting with a "T" connector;

H terminal devices must be installed at both ends, and at least one terminal device in each section is grounded;

A coaxial thin cable should not be installed outdoors, and the part installed outdoors should be jacketed.

Unshielded Twisted Pair

A. Wiring of twisted-pair cables in corridors and rooms shall be in cable troughs and straight;

B the longest twisted pair from the workstation to the hub is 100 m, and it can be extended by twisted pair connector if it exceeds 100 m;

C twisted-pair cables shall be bundled into cables in the computer room, and the cables shall have certain rules and shall not be misplaced;

D numbers should be marked on both ends of twisted pair to understand the corresponding relationship between nodes and hub interfaces;

E twisted-pair cable should be firmly inserted into the network cards of hubs and workstations;

F. When the node is not in use, the twisted pair does not need to be unplugged, which will not affect the work of other nodes;

G. In general, twisted pair should not be installed outdoors. When a few are installed outdoors, sleeves should be installed in the outdoor part;

H. select eight-core twisted pair. When installing the connector yourself, all eight wires should be installed. Don't just pack four threads, cut all the other four threads.

4, network equipment installation

Installation of wheel hub

A.a. The wheel hub shall be installed in a dry and clean room;

B.b. The wheel hub shall be installed on the fixed bracket;

C. Generally, the bracket for fixing the hub should be above 500mm from the ground;

D the cable inserted into the hub should be fixed on the bracket or wall to prevent it from falling off accidentally.

Installation of transceiver

A. Select the position where the transceiver is installed on the thick cable (the transceiver is installed on the thick cable, and the shortest distance between two transceivers should be 25m);

B. Install a special tool with transceiver to drill a hole in the thick cable, which should be drilled in the middle of the thick cable and to the bottom (that is, all drill bits are drilled);

C, installing a transceiver connector, wherein the transceiver connector has three pins (a signal pin in the middle and a grounding pin at both sides of the signal pin), and the signal pin is vertically connected into a hole on the thick cable, and fixing bolts are installed and fastened;

D use a multimeter to measure the resistance between the signal pin and the grounding pin, and the resistance value is about 25 ohms (the thick cable terminators at both ends of the thick cable have been installed). If the resistance is infinite, it is generally because the signal pin is not in contact with the thick cable core, or the receiving connector is not firmly fixed, or it is not drilled to the bottom when drilling, so it is necessary to re-drill or re-fix the receiving connector;

E. install the transceiver and fix the screws;

F the transceiver shall be fixed on the wall or bracket, and shall not be suspended in the air;

G. install the transceiver cable;

H the transceiver cable runs parallel to the thick cable, and then turns to ensure the reliable connection between the transceiver cable plug and the transceiver.

Network card installation

A don't choose the slot on the edge of the computer when installing the network card. The organic frame of the slot at the edge affects the plugging and unplugging of the network cable, which brings inconvenience to debugging;

B. The network card installation is the same as other computer cards. Because the network card has external wiring, the network card must be fixed on the computer rack with screws.

5, equipment installation
