Shenyang University of Technology plans to have 20 people in the western region.

The quota of each school in the western plan is determined according to national policies, school needs and the number of applicants.

The western region is planned to be implemented in 2003. According to the methods of open recruitment, voluntary registration, organizational selection and centralized dispatch, a certain number of fresh graduates or graduate students from ordinary colleges and universities will be recruited every year to engage in voluntary services in education, health, agricultural technology and poverty alleviation at the grassroots level in the western region for a period of 1-3 years.
