What documents do I need to open a gantry crane?

1. Gantry crane operation certificate is required, and it shall be handled in the local technical supervision bureau. Gantry crane operation certificate, made by state administration of work safety, the provincial safety production supervision and management departments, special operation certificate in the country. The operation certificate for special operations shall not be forged, altered, lent or transferred.

Because the gantry crane is a kind of crane, it must undergo special safety technical training and pass the examination, and obtain the special operation certificate of People's Republic of China (PRC), that is, the special operation certificate, before it can be employed. At the same time, because the special operation certificate is valid for 6 years, it will be reviewed every 3 years, and it needs to be re-examined and renewed after 6 years. Those who fail to attend the review on schedule will be fined, and those who fail to review after a certain period may be invalid.

Gantry crane is widely used in port freight yard because of its high site utilization rate, large working range, wide adaptability and strong versatility. Its metal structure is like a gantry, two legs are installed under the main beam, which can walk directly on the track on the ground, and there can be overhanging cantilever beams at both ends of the main beam.

2. Gantry crane (also known as gantry crane) is a kind of bridge crane, and its bridge is supported on the ground track through legs on both sides. Structurally, it consists of gantry, trolley running mechanism, lifting trolley and electrical parts. Some gantry cranes only have legs on one side and the other side is supported on the workshop or trestle, which is called semi-gantry crane. Gantry crane consists of gantry upper bridge (including main beam and end beam), supporting legs, lower beam and other parts. In order to expand the working range of the crane, the main beam can extend beyond the leg to one side or both sides to form a cantilever. You can also use a lifting trolley with a boom to expand the working range of the crane through the pitch and rotation of the boom.

3. The single-beam gantry crane is simple in structure, convenient to manufacture and install, light in weight, and the main girder is mostly box-type frame structure with off-track structure. Compared with the double-beam gantry crane, the overall stiffness is weak. Therefore, this form can be adopted when the lifting weight Q is ≤ 50t and the span S is ≤ 35m. There are two kinds of portal legs of single-beam gantry crane: L-shaped and C-shaped. L-shape is easy to manufacture and install, with good stress conditions and light weight, but the space for lifting goods through legs is relatively small. The C-shaped leg is made into an inclined or curved shape, in order to have more lateral space for goods to pass through the leg smoothly.
