Liu Haisu Art Museum is a newly-built national modern art museum. Located in Hongqiao Development Zone in the west of Shanghai, with beautiful environment and convenient transportation. It was named after Mr. Liu Haisu, one of the founders of Art Nouveau in China. President Jiang Zemin inscribed the name of the museum, which was officially opened on March 1995. Jimei Art Museum, a small museum and a personal memorial hall are integrated, which mainly perform the functions of the art museum, such as educating the public on art, organizing academic research, conducting international and domestic cultural exchanges, and promoting China's art career.
