What is Han culture?

Han culture is an urban culture, just like Shanghai culture and Beijing culture. Han culture is first of all an isolated island culture. That is to say, its influence is only limited to specific areas, namely the three towns of Wuhan in the central urban area. This also corresponds to the regional characteristics of Wuhan's economic development. Take language as an example. Language is a carrier of culture. Like the Chinese language, it should have first appeared in the Liudu Bridge area of ??Hankou, which is where the Chinese language originated. The isolated island character of the Chinese language represents a strong language that has spread to the surrounding areas and has now expanded to three towns in Wuhan. . Even in some urban villages like Wuchang now, the older people speak something other than Wuhan dialect. In places like Zhuodaoquan and Guanshan, Chinese is slowly expanding its scope as an intrusive language. For example, suburban Huangpi dialect (Southwestern Mandarin area), Xinzhou dialect (Huanggang dialect, belonging to Jianghuai Mandarin area), and Jiangxia dialect (Jianghuai Mandarin area), even though they are Southwest Mandarin dialects, they also belong to different dialect areas in the Wuhan area. The strength of Chinese is not only reflected in its aggressiveness, but also in the sharpness of its language, which carries an atmosphere of swearing, and this atmosphere can easily infect the people around it. Chinese sounds to us like a quarrel. Or swearing, this vivid way of expression makes it easy for people who are new to Chinese to resist, and soon, they will be slowly conquered. This is why Chinese is called one of the manifestations of Han culture. When it comes to Chinese, we have to mention Han Opera and Chu Opera. Han Opera and Chu Opera are local operas with Chinese dialects. They are generally popular in eastern Hubei. In addition to the administrative divisions of Wuhan, Ezhou, Huanggang, and Da In places such as Ye, the popular opera is not Han opera but Chu opera. In Huangmei, a little further away, another local opera plays the leading role, Huangmei opera. To the west, there is Jingzhou’s Flower Drum Opera. I once knew a person who was very good at singing Jingzhou Flower Drum Opera, and he also wrote a novel about this aspect. Therefore, the influence of the Chinese language and opera types of Han culture is also limited. Its greatest contribution is that Han opera came to Beijing, giving new elements and vitality to Peking opera.

The regional characteristics of Han culture have hindered its national influence. Currently, some TV stations in Wuhan have TV series dubbed in Chinese, such as "Jingshi Story Club" and "Jingshi Family" " and so on, have received a lot of attention, but their influence is only in the province. There are also some Chinese sketches, such as "You Scare Me", "The White Line Counts", etc. Although there are some performances in other places, but However, it is far from attracting national attention like Sichuan dialect and Northeastern dialect. Although there are reasons for the work, there are also reasons for promotion, there are also reasons for the crowd, etc. Local dialect allegro such as Hubei Dagu is based on Huangpi dialect. Therefore, strictly speaking, it cannot be regarded as Han culture.

The reason why Han culture works can be mentioned as a noun is not only due to linguistic reasons. The second characteristic of Han culture is the culture of quick success and instant benefit. Han culture is a dock culture and uses a dock language. As the Han culture has a very strong ability to absorb other cultures, the development of Wuhan can only be achieved through an unconventional method. That is to get Wuhan moving. This period is the best time for Han culture to have new content. Including Shouyi culture, wharf culture, and commercial port culture, all mutated under such circumstances, pushing Wuhan to a new height. The current Han culture has slowly reached a dead end. Concepts such as compliance with the system, abiding by rules, and long-term rules required by modern society will cause friction with Han culture. Wuhan must be raised to a deeper level.
