Kaifeng Traditional Chinese Medicine School (formerly Kaifeng Health Vocational Secondary School) is the only provincial-level key general secondary school in eastern Henan, which is under the supervision of Kaifeng Health Bureau.

It is an ordinary full-time provincial key middle school with national enrollment qualification approved by the Ministry of Education and sponsored by Kaifeng Municipal People's Government.

The school was founded in 1974, and was upgraded to Kaifeng health secondary specialized school on 1985 with the approval of Henan Provincial Department of Education, Health Department and Kaifeng Municipal People's Government. In 2005, with the approval of Henan Provincial Department of Education, Health Department, Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Kaifeng Municipal People's Government, it was renamed Kaifeng School of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
