Qujing North Station is the second largest station in Yunnan section of Shanghai-Kunming Passenger Dedicated Line after Kunming South Station. Qujing North Station is located in Longquan Village, Longhua Street, Zhanyi District, Qujing City, Yunnan Province, which is 12km away from Qujing City and 6km away from Zhanyi District. 1 Qujing North Station is located in Longquan Village, Longhua Sub-district Office, Zhanyi District, and is expected to send more than 5 million passengers every year. Qujing North Station is an important gateway for Shanghai-Kunming Passenger Dedicated Line to enter Yunnan, and an important platform to realize the fast-track between Qujing and the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta, and to promote the exchange of personnel, information, capital and commerce. Qujing Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government seized the opportunity of Shanghai-Kunming Passenger Dedicated Line, and based on Qujing North Station, planned to build a high-speed rail economic zone, with a planned area of 7.8 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Guikun Railway in the east, at the foot of Taihe Mountain in the south, about 500 meters west of Shanghai-Kunming Passenger Dedicated Line in the west, and Zhanyi Waterworks in the north.
